Sarah Cardozo Duncan

Sarah Cardozo Duncan is a STEM career coach with a global client base. She is an expert strategist in STEM career development, coaching clients to define and optimize new or existing career paths.

Sarah is currently the career coach-in-residence for several academic institutions and biotechs where she has designed and built individualized career coach-in-residence models.

Sarah is frequently invited to present lectures and workshops for many organizations in the STEM community. Examples include: Nature Jobs, Gordon Research Seminar, The National Postdoctoral Association, Boston University, and Boston Children’s Hospital Postdoc Association.

She is the recipient of the Mentor of Excellence Award from the Massachusetts chapter of the Association of Women in Science. Sarah has also served as a Steering Committee member of the Massachusetts Governor’s Appointment Project.

Sarah has been a founding member and board member of many organizations that promote women in science. Currently, she serves as an advisor to New England GWISE (Graduate Women in Science and Engineering). She is the co-founder and former co-chair of the board of New England Women in Science Executive Club and has founded Friends of Sarah, a confidential support program for women who are PhD candidates or postdocs experiencing difficult work environments that are negatively impacting their lives and careers.
