Are you a graduate student or postdoctoral researcher with a current project that intrigues you, sparking interest in transitioning your research project from an academic laboratory to a potential startup? If so, this webinar is tailored for you. Dr. Lindsay Pino, PhD, co-founder and CTO of Talus Bio, shares insights from her journey. Lindsay will tell of her work as a graduate student who had a fortuitous encounter with a postdoc at the University of Washington that laid the groundwork for Talus's pioneering proteomic mass spectrometry screening platform. The webinar will provide audience members valuable information from someone who has successfully transitioned an idea/platform from academia to industry. The hour-long session will be divided into three segments: 1) a presentation by Dr. Pino on Talus Bio's research and the proteomic screening platform they are utilizing for transcription factor drug discovery; 2) Dr. Pino's insights and advice for entrepreneurial-minded students who are potentially interested in founding a startup company; and 3) an interactive Q&A session where Dr. Pino will address questions from students about Talus Bio’s research and/or startup ventures.
